Default Stopped running...

My issue... Is a worrysome one.

My bike is a 1981 Suzuki GS 250 T

I was riding fairly hard on the interstate, and when I pulled off, the bike died. Just... Died. Any attempt to start it was met with only a click of the solenoid. When I tried to push start it (Got it going at a good run before I dropped the clutch, with full choke). When I did that, it just slowed to a stop with no attempt at firing.

The day was hot, and muggy, and I had previously been stuck in fifteen minutes of barely moving at all traffic, after about a half hour of riding.

I've been told the things to check would be mostly electrical, with the ignitor being a prime suspect.

What are your thoughts and suggestions?
