|  1995 CB1000 Alternator Cover 1995 Honda CB1000 Got a little problem with the alternator cover going back on. There is about an 1/8 - 1/16 gap between the cover and the mounting flange. The cover is snug onto the flange, seems to be on straight. I tried tapping the cover in place with a mallet and tightening the allen screws a little but all that did is damage the O ring. I tried installing it again, this time without the O ring and had the same gap. I don't remember seeing that gap during dissasembly. Is there some trick to getting that cover back on? Dragos |
