|  Lowering A 1980 GS850 Shaft Drive
Hi everyone, I am new here and I am working on a killer project. My 1980 GS850L is a nice bike,but I want it to look better. I am not sure if you would call my "vision" a cafe racer or a bobber, but I know what I want it to look like. I am trying to figure out the best way to lower the rear without having any problems. It looks to me like its all spring. I only want around 2 inches. Any advice would help. I also would love to know what is the biggest tire I can get in back. I will modify the break stay, thats easy. I was thinking 140, maybe 150 not sure. Thanks for any help! Kris |
