| I have an '02 GS500 that I got with about 300 miles on it. I just did break-in maintenance (around 600 miles) and got it to start back up, but it doesn't seem to want to run very well. I lugs a lot in first until you get it up to about 5,000 rpm and then takes off with a vengance. A friend says that it kind of sounds fuel starved, but not sure what to do from here. Thought it may be the spark plugs and that I should change them (flooded the bike at one point trying to start it), but after talking to a friend, he says that's probably not the case. Any suggestions on what might be going wrong? Throttle issue or fuel issue?
