Hi Everyone!
I'm obviously new here. I just bought an '81 Yamaha 650 Maxim as my first bike. It ran well for the whole day until I got home and tried to park it in our enclosure. The yard is a big hill and the grass was a little slippier than I expected... plop... down I went.

(It's a big bike, cut me some slack, 1025 pounds and I'm 130 lol, takes some getting used to). After some struggle I got it back up and a lot of fuel ran from it (I assume out of normal overflows since the bike as at 110 degrees (meaning the top of the bike was slanted downwards). I clicked to the reserve and tried to start it up. It wouldn't start.
So I let it sit for the night and with the choke all the way out it purrs like a kitten, but when you remove choke it dies almost instantly. Also, if you try to give it throttle while idling it sputters and dies. Any ideas how a soft, non-moving drop could cause this? stuck float? I'll take any suggestions.
Thanks,
-Kap
