I have often wondered what benefits removal of the pair system has...other than ease of head work and the tiny weight reduction. Has anyone here done it to a B12....Red?....sorry Clint? I know there is a recent post regarding this and there have, in the past, been many but most of those have been for cosmetic appearances only. I would imagine removal would entail blocking the cylinder outlets with some kind of blanking plate similar to the ones supplied in kits. All other plumbing would presumably be blocked off in a similar fashion...not too sure if the fuel valve vacuum is derived from the pair valve setup? Anyone?  |
