Default Final Drive Repair

Hi guys, new to the forums here and looking for some help. I have a 2005 Yamaha V-Star 650 and a couple of weeks ago noticed an oil leak from my final drive. Being somewhat handy and not wanting to spend a fortune I decided to repair this myself, it turns out one of the bearings exploded and got chewed up in the gears taking a few o-rings with it, hence the leak. Luckily the only thing that was damaged was the bearing and none of the gears suffered any damage. The bearing should be easy enough to replace but the problem is getting one of the "retainer bearings" out. I ran across a post of one guy in England who removed the bearing (which really isn't a bearing) with a "special yamaha socket". I've been searching for two weeks and have not been able to locate one of these "special sockets". Anyone know where I could track one of these down or performed this procedure before and knows how to get that out?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
