Default 05 kat slip on

I have a 05 kat 600 and was wondering if there are any slip ons that i could get and not have to adjust the carbs at all from stock.

Doubt you will find one that does not need some carb tinkering as most allow the motor to breath easier thus cause slight mixture problems. Least you would probably have to do would be raise the needles and enrichen the pilot circuits. If you do not want to fit after market needles with grooves and circlips you may get away with slipping a small thin washer under the top of the needles where they go through the holder to achieve some sort of adjustment. The pilots are easy as a half turn out is probably all you will need. Be aware of two possible problems though. 1: If the pilot screws are coverd with a small cap then removal is a carb off situation and involves carefully drilling a small hole in the cap then using a metal thread screw in the hole to pull the cap out. 2: Backfiring and exhaust popping/crackling is prevelant with most slip ons.

Good luck
