|  Plug wires
I have a 1982 GS650GL. It runs great up until 5,000-5,500 rpm, then it starts to cut out. I have changed the spark plugs, cleaned carbs, changed fuel filter. I think it might be the plug wires and caps. Is there any way to splice new wires onto the old coils. Only reason I'm asking is because the coil and wires are 1 piece and the part is discontinued. Any help will be appreciated.
