Default RM 250 smoke

i was just wondering if it is normal for my bike to smoke a lil bit when i first ?start it? it goes away after a lil bit but was just a tiny bit concerned. thanks

Some smoke at a cold startup is normal, you should see my GT750 (3cyl 2-stroke} smoke when I start it up! Once the engine & exhaust get hot there will be little smoke unless your running full throttle.

Is the RM a two stroke...if so they do tend to smoke a bit but you may be running too much oil in the mix if it is getting worse

yeah its a two stroke..i guess it just is burning off the excess oil in the motor that gets left behind. goes right away after a lil bit.
