| It must be leaking for the gas to get in there and in my experience this sort of leak will only get worse. Once you have fixed the float/needle/valve issue you will have to fix the leaking petcock or the whole thing will eventually return.

| Where Am I ? | The bowls are fairly small and there is enough gas in the TUBE below the shut-off to flood it. this is what im gonna go with because the petcock is definitly not leaking. the line is about 1/4'' in diameter and about 6 inches long...almost enough fuel to fill the bowl |
