Default 2007 V Star 100 Silverado starting difficulty

I have 2007 1100 with 800 miles. I winterized bike in Nov ‘07 by adding StaBil treatment to gas and driving for a few miles. I then filled the tank leaving the fuel valve in open position. Last week I prepped bike to ride however I have problem with starting, Engine started reluctantly and engines runs on quite strong even with engine warm and choke closed. I do not suspect that gas has varnished the carbs, at least varnish to the . Any suggestions you could pass on will be appreciated. Thank you, Mitch
