Unhappy 80' 650 Yamaha Maxim

Hello All,

Bought this bike last year (first bike) and rode it all last summer, no problems. I started getting some high pitched squealling sounds, but only when the bike warmed up. Turned out one of the carb boots had some cracks in it. So, I started getting my bike ready for this season, I replaced all the carb boots, new plugs, new battery and new front brakes and I can't seem to get the bike started. Before I did all this I charged the old battery and managed to start the bike after a few attempts. For the winter I fogged the carbs and put stabalizer in the tank, hence the new plugs, they looked pretty fouled. I can't figured out why it won't start. What else do I need to check. One member metioned a "killswitch"(?), does this bike have one, where would it be??? Any help would be appreciated..Thanks everyone!!
