I just got my bike back from the shop after its first service. Now it will occasionally begin to lope and stutter while warm idling. I haven't been able to isolate and replicate the conditions to cause the loping, but I was wondering if I should bump the idle up. The tach currently reads 1K at warm idle.

Sorry 'bout that:

2004 Suzuki GSX-R600; 700 miles. Just had it serviced and 'tuned'. Not real happy with the results of the 'tuning'.

Take it back. Odds are, they'll have to keep it again, but I'm sure they'll fix whatever it is for free.

Will do, thanks.

Also: I am able to successfully recreate the loping condition when engine is op temp range (180-195F) by slightly bumping the throttle (200-500 RPM) and quickly releasing it. The engine will then sound like a V-Twin and lose RPM.

Doesn't the manual say something about keeping the idle at 12-1400 RPM? I had a little problem with stalling, not just because of the light flywheel, but because my idle was just barely hovering over 1k. After I adjusted to 1200 RPM, problem(s) went away.
