Default Final carb sync visit

Well I read Bills post and finaly figured out the correct way to do the sync job. I went out and bought a set of four valves....used for controling air supply to an aqaurium.... I fixed this up to my single vacuum gauge and used the four way valve to swich between carbs. I got the vacuum set and decided to go for a run...the motor was running sooooo sweet.

A few miles from home the engine started to run rough as guts no power and only running on one or two cylinders. I managed to limp it to a garage using the prime position and put some fresh fuel in...the gauge was on reserve...and it started up fine

I guess I had a vapour lock or something because it runs great now. So thanks Bill and Red it really is sweet to do the job yourself...I had tried to do it so many times in the past that whilst at the gagrage I thought about removing the tank to take a look see if there was a pipe crimped because I reckon I can have the tank off and set up for a carb sync in less than ten minutes now

Cheers

Steve
