| Not sure about a Honda but most older bikes that I have worked on the points were set @ .014 and the plugs @ .028

| Just wanted to give you a link to a site specializing in these older classics. The Single Overhead Cam 4 Forums - Index I'm fairly certain that the specs for the points is a range from .012 to .016 with most people use .14 like 2005GZ said. You can find anything you need to know about that machine on that other forum or send me a PM. I've got the manual at home and electronically somewhere. Are you fixing up a bike for a friend or is this your project? Good luck. James

| Will check out the link,thanks. Picked up three of these machines, the fella that had em got side tracked on another project and wanted them to go to a good home. Gave the best of them to son in law for xmas (the look on his face was worth it) thats the one we are working on now. The other 2 are going to be my project after i get my T160 rewired and painted up. Spring is coming, need a ride. Thanks again. |
