Default GSXR600 K3 Braided Brakes

Could someone please help.

I have just bought an HEL braided brake kit for my Suzuki GSXR600 K3. However I am confused how I just set the front lines up. Is it a case of just swapping them like for like with a line running from the master cylinder to the right caliper, and then a looped line running from the right caliper over the mudguard to the left caliper as per the OEM set up. Or do I need to change it and run a 2 lines from the master cylinder to each caliper which is different to the standard set up.

HELP PLEASE

Thanks,
Dan

Don't know, but what's a "K3"?

what is a K3, I won't really matter, look at the lengths of your lines and banjo bolts. Install the lines in whatever fashion works best for suplied parts. The reason I say this is because without pumps or restrictors, or pressure regulators, when talking about a hydrolic system( Particularly one as simple as front brakes on MOST modern bikes), the pressure is the same throught the entire system. Just make sure that you blead throughly, good luck with that.

K3 is just the UK name for the 2003 model of GXSR 600.

So I can install them in the same way as the manufacturer has installed the brakes. Cool problem sorted then.

Just one one thing. Which caliper do I need to bleed first?

I honestly tried to figure out what that sentence means and couldn't. Please try again.

Back to my question about K3 - who calls them that? Is it a slang term or does the manufacturer or licensing office do it? Is it short for "2K3"?

Its like saying "O-three". Anyways, bleed the one on the left first.
