| Can anyone help? I have a 04 600. I recently opened up the brake line, once I closed it no pressure and no brakes. Been trying to pump the brake to bleed it, still no brake. What am i doing wrong? Please Help |

| This will help and it you have any questions, you can call me: Installing Ferodo 760-314-7042 Basically you need to make sure you keep the resivor full. Then you pump the pedal about 10 times until you feel pressure(even if it is a little) and then hold it down. While it is down, crack the bleed screw, but make sure you have a hose on it and it drains in to something that brake fluid won't hurt. Now close the nut before you release the brake pedal. Repeat until you get all the air out.

| Hi, Bill, Thanks for responding to my post. Didn;t think i was gonna get a response that quick. Anyway, i did everything except using the vacuum pump (dont have one) and still no pressure. I even installed a working rear brake assembly from another gixxer 600(same bike-caliper, brake line, and cylinder) and nothing. I no the vacuum pump helps alot but i dont think its necessary. Pumping the pedal should be good enough i think, just not sure how much pumpiing it needs. Oh, one more thing. Is the vacuum pump in the picture fabricated or did u purchase it? |

| I purchased it and now sell them. It might be best if you give me a call so we can figure out what might be happening. 760-314-7042
