Default Valve adjustment hint

I just finished checking the valve adjustment on my 06 S50 and discovered a couple of things that may help with that job, may also apply to other bikes as well.
To find TDC, the marks are hard to see, use a drinking straw in the sparkplug hole (the straw is soft enough that it will not damage anything if it gets cocked in the cylinder). Watch as it reaches near the top travel as the piston pushes it up, both intake and exhaust valves should be closed, then look on the inspection hole at the fly wheel for the TDC mark. I have had trouble seeing the marks so I taped a small but very bright LED flashlight to my extending mirror, the same mirror I use to check my oil level as I sit on the bike. I used that to find the mark while looking through the inspection hole..
I thought this might prove helpful for some of you home mechanics.
