|  Prioritizing repairs
I have a 87 Honda Rebel 450 that i bought last week. The bike needs some work, and Id like to get it repaired over time, as i have money. So far one of the fork seals has a slight leak, i want to get both replaced. The choke doesn't operate properly, needs to be looked at. The idle is rough, been told by a mechanic when I did the inspection to get the carbs synchronized. Also need to have the charging system checked. Thats all I know so far, more repairs may be needed as these get done. Now I cant get all this done at once, got a rough quote of 250 for fork seals, 200-225 for carbs. What should get done first. Right now I'm only riding locally around the neighborhood, cause i don't trust it to get too far from home. |
