| I bought a 2003 leftover Suzuki DR200SE about a month ago. I've only put 700mls on it (mostly on-road) and I'm already having trouble with it. It will only start if the choke is pulled all the way out, and will run only on half or full choke. It stalls if the choke knob is pushed all the way in. Just prior to this, the bike had shut down on me completely while I was riding it. I was riding along, then all of a sudden poof, the engine shut down. Ideas? |

| Sounds like you have some moisture in the carbs, try draining them then run a bit of carb cleaner through the petrol. Was the bike sat in the showroom for a long time with only a dribble of petrol sat in the tank to start it up for prospective buyers?

| Yes, you are right. The bike did sit around for a long while. And the problem was the carburator. My fiancee took it apart, cleaned it, and I've had no problem since. Yeah! Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it. |
