Default Seized Master Cylinder 73 Yamaha TX500

I recently purchased this all original bike, had not run since 1975 and the only major problem is that the front brake master cylinder is seized and I cannot get it to move at all. I have a rebuild kit for it, but I need to know how to get the master cylinder apart to change the parts if it is seized? I guess what I am asking is how can I unseize it? I would just buy a new one but they don't seem to be available anywhere.

Or would a master cylinder from another bike fit and still work correctly? - Thats not my prefered option since the bike is all original and I would like to keep it that way, but if I have to I will do it while I find an original master cylinder.
