Default Oil leak!

hello my name is nathan and i would really appreciate a little help with a problem I am having. I have a 2001 suzuki intruder 800cc and it is leaking oil. There is a little weep hole that is actually right on the bottom of the water pump and there is oil leaking out of this hole. Really dont understand what is causing it only thing I can think is that a seal is out. It only has 10k miles so it is still pretty new if there is anyone who might be familiar with this bike and might have a solution to what I need to do I would really appreciate the help. Thanks, peace!

Sounds like the water pump seal is bad. You can either rebuild or replace your water pump. Not a terribly difficult job either way.

Most likely the oil seal on the water pump drive shaft. Flush your cooling system well when you repair it, as there is likely oil in your coolent also.
