Will I had my 1st Suzuki malfunction .....my little yellow low fuel light has stopped working on low fuel. It works when I turn on the key but not on low fuel conditions. It used to come on at 148-152 mile but for the last few tank fulls nothing. I have 11,000 on her from Feb 06 till now. Figures just when it goes off warrenty!!! Any body else have an issue with this light? And what did you do to resolve it?

No problems with my fuel light.

I don't recall any one saying they had a problem with the low fuel light.
Have you removed the tank?
Are any connections loose?
Checked the fuses?

If v0lusia pops in, check with him.

Well I think I found the problem....I had always gotten about 48 to 50 mpg. In the last 2 tank fulls it jumped to 54 mpg. With same type of riding. I don't know maybe its just broken in a little more. It came on at 162 miles tonight on the way home from work, on the way to a gas station. I was pleased that it appears nothing is wrong. Lets see if the milage maintains its improvement. Has any of you guys seen a jump in milage at the 10>12,000 mile range? I do remember that my Ford Ranger had a big jump at about 10 K.

I have not had that one. The only problems I have with mine is a heavy knock in the bottom end, fuel leaking out the gas cap, acting like fuel starvation while riding down the road and an idle that will not hold.

Since I have an extended warranty, I feel the dealer should fix it. BUt as usual with Suzuki and the dealer, they are putting the blame on each other and nothing is being fixed.
