|  transmission problems...
recently, i started to have a problem with 3rd gear, it was choppy, so i sklipped over it. so i was riding today and all of a sudden, by accident, i shifted int third and gave it some gas. i hear metal-on-metal grinding and what not, then stall the bike. i start it back up, and i can only down shift into first gear, and when i shift up hard, it only goes into neutral, aftyer like 20 tries, i got it into 4th, but then down shifted into 1st, and it won't go anywhere but first now. what exactly did i do to my bike, and how much will this cost to fix at a dealer or if i do it myself? its a 98' DR350, thanks in advance |
