250 RGV problems - Motorcycle-Journal Forums

i just bought a L reg RGV 250 for a bargain hence there is a few things wrong, i dont know much about bikes but want to learn, here is the probs

1- when running and put lights on engine cuts out, when it does idle and lights are bright when i rev they dull down

2- there is a clicking from front wheel maybe nothing to do with this but spedo does not read properly

3- back brakes feel as if they are sticking on its hard to manouver when bikes switched off

is there a web site that gives you a how to do things like release brakes ect or anything i should keep on top off also regular checks

its actually my front brake that is sticking

thats my battery problem sorted i can put lights on now its not cutting out also is there anywhere i can find how to do fork seals on my bike

Do you have a haynes manual? they have diagrams of how to perform repairs on your bike and a troubleshooting guide to problems you may face.
