|  Start problem GSX 1100 EF My `85 model SUzuki GSX 1100 EF won`t start when I hit the start button. The starter runs extremely slow a short while then it`s dies. Tries again and the same happens. Every time the Battery and + wire get very hot. STarter is new (changed), battery is OK, starter solenoid is ok. When i jump start the bike i`t start`s immediatly and runs nice. Any ideas what`s wrong??? Thank you in advance! Bjorn Arne Berg Norway |

| try charging the battery for longer (at least 6-8hours) and make sure there are no shorts anywhere. as for the wire and the battery and the wire getting really hot, i have no idea. the only way they'd get really hot is if they were under alot of electrical resistance which may mean you have the wrong guage wire. i think the correct guage is 6. good luck.
