Default Turn Signal Running Lights

Have a Suzuki sv650sk1. The bike does not have front turn signal running lights. What would you do, to accomplish this? I do believe it can be done!

I believe you have to change the receptical in the housing to a dual element, then wire it into your headlight wiring. you might just go to a aftermarket signal with a dual element already installed.

Thanks for the info. I have been told about doing that before, but I was told that it could blow a fuse from the extra "work". Do you all think there is any reason to support that?

I dont think the low draw would blow any fuses but if you look around on the bike it may have a unused connector under the tank or such, I've been told some bikes which are also sold overseas will have extra connectors for running lights and carb heaters, You may be able to look it up in a maint manual.

Thanks Roaddog. I havent been able to find any info on this in the owner's manual. I think, I will have to "tap" into the headlight harness. Do you think that would be better than the brake, which some have suggested to me?

I think either way should be fine, i would probably go with the headlight wiring.
