Default Tail light cut-off switch

I was wanting to wire a cut-of switch for my tail lights/brake lights. When looking at the wiring diagram I saw a brown wire coming from the ignition switch to the tail lights. However I also saw a black w/white tracer wire coming from both the front and rear brake light switch running to the tail lights. I'm assuming that if I were to wire a cut-off switch in line with the brown wire from the ignition switch, then the brake lights would still work (since they're off a different wire). Or if I wired the switch in line with the B/W wire, then the tail lights would still work. Is there somewhere I can wire in a switch that would kill both at the same time? I can't seem to find anything that would run both. Thanks!
