Hullo there. My bike is a Suzuki, it has one horizontal cylinder with 125cc displacement, two valves. Bet you never seen one of these. Recently i have a trouble adjusting its idle. I have been fiddling with the idle stop screw, air screw, but the idle remains screwed up. at first start it idles fine but as soon as i roll the throttle and release, the rev stays on high, by the sound of it i guess it's bout 1500 rpm higher. Instinctively i shut the idle stop screw a bit to get the idle to normal, but the problem is that the idle is too low that the engine stumbles and dies whenever i flicks on the headlight. My bike has a Mikuni VM 18 SS carburetor Main Jet size: 97.5 (increased from the stock 92.5) Pilot Jet size: 17.5 (increased from the stock 12.5) What's wrong with my bike? Can anyone share their knowledge? Thanks |
