Default 93 gsxr 750 tail light stuck on

hey im new here.. i have a 1993 gsxr 750.. email me for pics.. and just the other day i noticed the brake light will not turn off? why would this happen? what should i check? if unplug the harness from the back brake it turns off but the second i hit the brake it comes right back on

probably a bad switch. They are exposed to a lot of dirt water, so on and so forth. They are pretty affordable. Before you replace it, try adjusting it.

the plastic switch that goes to the tail on the back brake lever? im going to check for shorts tommrow.. do these switches go alot?

check the one for the rear brake, it is adjustable so you might have a simple fix here
