Default 96 Katana engine noise

I just got a 96 Katana 600 and the engine itself is really noisy I can hear it over the exhaust and the other thing my headlight is aimed up into the trees which makes it hard to see where I am going where is the screw to aim the headlight back down?

What type of noise? Ticking or something else? The headlight adjuster screw should be on the back of the headlight housing. You really should get an owner's manual so you can properly adjust and maintain the bike.

I have a Chiltons manual and I did figure out the headlight, as far as the noise I'm not really sure how to decribe it, it's like you can hear the insides of the engine like normal, but just a lot louder.
