Default which spark plug??

i got a 82 suzuki rm125 liquid cooled 6spd bike and im curious what kinda plug should be in it ??right now it has a 9 in it.... but i hear between the 8's and 9's one of them runs/burns hotter then the other... now in my old suzuki 78 ds100 i had i would use a 9 and the bike would feel like it had more snap to it like on the bottom end outta the hole, compared to riding with a 8 in it, she felt a little more sluggish......so do the 9's run hotter then ??? and what would best for my 125 ??? or does it really matter??

Default

the 8 is the hotter running plug, i'm guessing the stock plug would be a 9 but if it fouls plugs i'd go to an 8 but check the carb and jetting first you don't wanna fix one problem by creating another and yes it does really matter
