Default fuel hose

I was trying to figure out how to change the fuel hose yesterday, and I saw how there are two hoses coming out of the petcock. I think one is vacuum, and one is for gas, but I'm not really sure which is which. My guess is that the smaller one that goes down to the carbs would be the one needing replacement. Am I right?

On my GZ250 the small hose is the vacuum and the larger hose is for fuel. The vacuum hose should run to the front of the carb or manifold and the fuel hose will run to the side of the carb just above the float bowl. If you cannot figure it out place some rags under the carb and remove the larger hose and see if gas comes out.

Replace both...save yourself some trouble later.
