I bought a 1997 GSXR-600 that has been sitting for the past 2 years. With a boost it was able to crank over but the engine quickly flooded afterwards. I cleaned out the carbs and purged the engine. After which I started the bike and it started just fine, but sounded like it was running rough and the engine flooded again soon after I shut it down. I've since replaced the spark plugs and the same thing occurs. I think it's a problem with the ignition coils, the spark plug wire harness or even something further back. Any advice on how to check the coil/harness, or if anyone's experienced this issue in the past?
