Default my tach is off

I have an '05 Suzuki SV650, I just replaced my tach faceplate and now my tach is off a little. How can i get the needle back to where it needs to be?

Can you rotate the face round so zero lines up with the needles rest position?
Also, some needles will pop off the end of the shaft they are on, although you have to be gentle, then you can refit it where you want. A good tip to lift them off without breaking them is to use 2 teaspoons as small levers.

you can't rotate the face. i need to resync the tach. does anybody know how to do it?

is the tack needle just above zero or is it way up the dial?
