Default compression leak

Ok I've got a 1991 cbr600f2 that I believe to have a compression leak. I tested the cylinders and 1 and 3 have about 120psi and 2 and 4 about 150. How to I find out what/where the leak is coming from. I'm not sure how to calculate what they are suppose to be at and cannot find it in the service manual. I would assume they are suppose to be around 180 though.

Have you checked CBR forums? Hopefully someone at one of those would be able to give you specifics on what pressure the cylinders should be running.

The propper way to check where you are leaking is by performing a cylinder leak-down test. Basically, make an adapter to hook an airline to one of the cylinders via the spark plug hole and make sure the airline has a dryer/filter on it... Pressurize the cylinder when the valves are closed, and listen through the oil filler, intake port and exhaust pipe to see where you can hear leaking.
