Default gs450l gastank

greetings,

i've recently had problems with my gas tank and carburator (1986 GS450L). Apparently, the inside of my gastank is rusting, and thus getting into the carb. So I took it to get cleaned and lined, but it has already been lined, and the dude says his liner will not stick. Therefor, I need a new gas tank that is not rusty. What I need to know, is what gas tanks are compatible with mine. Again, 1986 GS450L red gas tank. I think that 1986-1988 are the same, but maybe i can use yamaha or honda tank as well. It's just starting to get nice out, and I'm anxious, so please help.

Don't mean to send you else where, but the guys at GS Resources should know what fits since that's what they specialize in, only the GS models. Since I sold mine I've lost track of that type of info, but here is the link. Good luck with the tank.
