Default GIXXER Clock Setting

I'm sure this question has been asked millions of times, but I can't find the answer. Can anyone tell me how to set the clock on my 01 750? Thanks

Press Sel and Adj buttons simultaneously until the hour display blinks.
Adjust the hour by pressing the Adj button.
Push the Sel button to select the minute display.
Adjust the minute display by pressing the Adj button.
Press the Sel button to return to the normal clock mode.

This is from an 02 1k manual and should be the same for your 01 750.

Thanks a bunch. I have one more question. Is there a way to get out of the 24 hour clock and only run with a 12 hour clock? Thanks

Default Two-buttons pushed, no set.

First off, hello to all. I am new to the site. This is my first post, although I've been an anonymous browser for a while now. Thanks to all for the (mostly) informative tips and sharing of experiences.

Anyway, I have the same problem with my clock on my '01 bandit 1200s. I've followed the instructions in the user guide (push and hold both buttons simultaneously, until the time flashes), but the time never starts flashing. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Dumb question but I havew to ask.....Did you press select until you reached the clock mode before pressing and holding both buttons?

Default Dumb questions

Thanks for getting back to me. Yes, I am in the clock "mode". FYI, the other functions, well, function. For example, I can reset the trip meters. Unfortunately, I can't get the odometer to reset - it just keeps going up and up

Sounds like the Select button works and the Adjust button doesn't. Might want to do a little surgery and see if that's the case.
