Default Cosmetic Fix

Pardon my ignorace when trying to describe what I'm looking for, but I'm not exactly mechanically inclined.

On the handlebars, the little cap that goes in the end of them so that you don't have an open hole there... What the hell is the name of that? I looked on the microphish at ronayers.com for it, but can't find it. I'm missing one on my bike, and would like to replace it. I yanked off the other one and it is just some shiny plastic, held in with some sort of glue substance.

Thanks in advance.

Steve

Default Trim Caps

They are called trim caps and can be purchased at your local Suzuki dealership. They are pressure fit and require no glue. If someone has taken off the cap at one time or another and breaks the stem, then they will not stay on and the usual fix is to glue them down with whatever is available (clear caulking to scotch tape).

Default I'm sorry

I'm sorry I misread your post. You are referring to the plastic caps at the end of the grips I assume. I would like to know the answer to this one, as my throttle grip has a loose cap and darn if I can figure out how to glue it in place. I have tried super glue to epoxy with no success.

You could buy bar-ends which use a screw (and at the other end, the part that goes into you handle bars, a piece expands when you tighten the screw).
You can buy them in all motor-shops, and certainly in shops where they sell all kinds of accessories. Just make sure you buy the right diameter (there are mainly two sizes).

Thanks for your responses. Bar ends you say? I will look into it.
