| Every once in awhile when I downshift from 3rd to 2nd gear, the bike goes into neutral. If if let out the clutch, engage it again, and give the shifter a little harder press, it goes down into 2nd just fine. Any reason this may be happening?

| It's 24 years old? Bike trannies are different than car trannies. There can be enough wear in them that the dogs don't engage the gears fully, and the shaft spins free. I don't have a solution for you, but I'm not experienced with older bikes.

| An oldie but a goody. Is this something I should be worried about, or just kinda ignore it? Like I said, it doesn't happen often, just every once in awhile when I guess I don't shift down hard enough.
