Default Do ignition advancers make a real diff?
Are they worth the $50 and what is involved in installing? Any other modifications needed? ('87 GSX-R1100, jetted and pipe, k&n filters)

yes they make a differance, if you ride it hard and if you know what your bike does where RPM wise. More advance= more power.
