Default Replacement keys

Hi all new to the site but a member of sv650.org ...

i have lost both ....yes both sets of keys and need to know if i can get the keys replaced with out getting all the locks changed


...IE can i call someone with my frame number ????? i dont have the key number though ....


by the way im in the UK

As far as I know you need that little tag with the key number that came with your bike when you bought it. Without it, your out of luck.

I'm not sure about motorcycles, but if you call the dealer or manufacturer with a car vin#, they can give you a key code. Then some locksmiths can cut it using a special key machine. ( I know b/c we have one in the hardware store i work at)
