Default Torques pects and tips for replacing clipons on 04 GSXR1000
I have an 04 GSX-R1000, and need to remove and replace the top triple tree to install new clip-ons.

I have the service manual on order but it has not come in yet. Can someone reply with:

1. Torque specs for upper triple tree pinch bolts and steering stem nut.

2. Can the upper tripple tree be removed and replaced with the front end on the ground, or do I need a front end lift? It seems like it would put a lot of stress on the lower triple tree.
