Default advice needed please

Hi firstly im new to this forum so if i have posted in the wrong place im sorry, and i also before i start i have little knowledge of the mechanics behind motorbikes/cars infact mechanics in general so if any of my question seen stupid then im sorry. The problem I have is that me and friend have bought a off road go-kart which has a suzuki engine in it with gt2502 stamed on the side of it. The guy we bought it from stripped one of these bikes and used the engine, brakes, gearbox, rev counter etc. the go kart had been standing in the same place outside for over 2 years and obviously has ceased up slightly, so we are having to completely strip down the brake system, clean the carbs out etc. the previous owner had said that it had an electrionic start and on the steering wheel the are buttons to engage the batttery and start the enging, but on closer inspecion the wires running down the edge of the go-kart have been cut and i can find no evidence of an electronic start, so if anyone knows if these engines do have one, where abouts i can find it and how to wire it up would be very helpful. also i have no idea what the fuel mixture for this engine should be and wether the fuel is pre mixed? so agian some advice would be helpful. Im sure that there are other problems that we will come across so i will probally be updating this post regulary or it might but smooth running from here (i doubt it though!) Any advice on these matters or genral advice on the bike/engine or how to get the enginge to start would be great

Thanks Dan.
