  |  What are the rubber things? On my '81 GS450, there are small black discs that are squeezed in between the cylinder fins. They're not between every fin, only a few of them. There's 10 or 12 on each side. I think they're rubber. What are they? Are they vibration dampers?

| Sounds like vibration dampners to me...l'd suggest leaving them be... Currently dealing with previous owners mistaken removal of vibration dampners, ever try to fabricate rubber?
