| Constant fuel leak into crank case and air filter box. New needle and seats, and o-rings, carbs cleaned and adjusted. Ran well for a while. Now what I assume to be gas comes out of the bottom of the bowls on all four carbs. Also it backs up into the air box and then spits it out the stem at the bottom of the air box. The leaver at the tank has only two settings prime and fuel I leave it on fuel so it should only pump gas when the bike starts? It seems like it is always putting pressure on the system. Which would cause the back up and fuel leak. It dose not leak much into the valves because of the new needle and seats. But I wounder if there is a problem with the vacum hose or the petcock. Does anyone know how to check the petcock that sends the fuel to your carbs? When I take the fuel lines off the petcock it leaks gas should gas come out? If the vacum hose is crimped could that be the problem? please help would like to fix over the winter. Thanks Last edited by Kat; 11-30-2005 at 08:35 PM. |
