Cover them in good quality oil.

No Don't!! I am kidding.
Has it just started squeaking? How old are the pads?

Clean the brakes. Make sure all the anti-rattle clips/ springs are intalled properly, and use a little of that anti-squeal red gunk you put on the back of the pads. If that doesn't work, try a better brand of aftermarket pads: botht the cheep aftermarket and the factory pads tend to squeak a lot more than good aftermarket ones.

I just replaced my rear brakes with oem pads from the dealer and they squeal like crazy. I will put up with it for a while.
