|  Engine TBO's..
Hey everyone, this is my first post!  Anyway, I'm currently on the prowl for a used street bike, possibly a Bandit 400 or GS500E. I was interested in a couple, but a friend of mine said they have way too many kilometers on them. So my question is, typically how long will a Bandit400/GS500 engine go before they will need to be overhauled? I understand that can be a rather varied amount and dependent to each machine.. I just would like to be able to immediately discount certain bikes with too much mileage. So any information would be greatly appreciated. This will be my second bike, the last one I owned (FZR400) I sold about 3 years ago. So I would like to pickup something rather small, cheap to run and insure to get back into the groove for a year or two. (Though I am also considering a SV650 if I could manage the funds.. *Insert Dream*) -v00d00 |
