Default Won't Idle

While I was halfway home the other day. My bike started running really bad. It would not idle. It would start right up, but I had to give it throttle in order to start. While throttling it in low revs. it ran really bad. If I rev'd it up it ran alright. It's a 1998 GSXR 750. The FI light never came on either. Thanks.

Dirt in fuel line and or tank. Do you have an inline fuel filter.
The last GSXR-750 in the family was a 91. So it has been some time.

It may be time to replace plug leads. If you do go with good quality.
